- Lynn Hershman Leeson,
- Artist, photographer, media artist and visionary for more than 30 years, will be receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award for Digital Media Evolution. The award will be presented to her at a benefit for artist, Steve Kurtz, who was arrested by the FBI on bioterrorism charges, due to the materials he used in an art installation. A screening of her film about this case, STRANGE CULTURE, along with a presentation will be scheduled in Humboldt County at a later date.
